Spotify music service is not available in the CIS and many other countries. However, many Spotify fans prefer not to use alternative platforms. In this guide, you’ll learn how to register an account on the blocked Spotify website and how to configure a proxy for Spotify.

Step-by-step instructions for registering on Spotify with a proxy:

1. Find a proxy server in a country where Spotify is available – we recommend using a US-based server (preferably an elite/private proxy).
2. Open your system’s proxy settings, enable “Use a proxy server,” and enter the server address and port number.
3. Open your browser, go to the Spotify website, and create a free account.

Afterwards, you’ll be able to download and install the official Spotify client on your computer. Sign in with your username and password (your username is your email address), and start listening to music and managing your playlists.

Configuring Proxy Settings in the Spotify Application
